Features Welcome Messages
free planWelcome Messages
Posts your welcome text in the channel you choose when someone joins.
When a member joins, the bot posts your text in the channel you set. You write the message; placeholders fill in the member, the server name and the member count. It goes out as a plain message or as an embed with your color and the new member's avatar.
What it does
- Fills in {user}, {username}, {server} and {memberCount} at send time
- Sends plain text, or an embed with your color, the member's avatar as thumbnail and a timestamp
- Adds an optional mention outside the embed, so the new member gets a notification
- Checks it has Send Messages and Embed Links in the channel before posting
- Records the join in your log channel when logging is configured
Worth knowing before you turn it on
It needs both a channel and a message text: without them the feature refuses to start. Text only, there is no generated welcome image or banner. The permission check asks for Send Messages and Embed Links even in plain-text mode, so without Embed Links nothing is posted. If the channel is missing or the permissions are wrong it fails quietly, with a line in the bot log and no alert to you. Joins only; leave messages are a separate feature on Pro.
