Anti-Raid

Watches joins for floods and new-account waves, then warns staff or locks the server down.

It counts every join inside a rolling time window. Two things trip it: too many joins at once (10 in 2 minutes by default), or too many brand-new accounts (5 accounts younger than 24 hours). In alert mode it posts an embed in the channel you pick and pings your staff roles. In lockdown mode it also puts your text channels on slowmode and times out the people who just walked in, then puts everything back after 30 minutes.

What it does

  • Runs two independent triggers, join volume and account age, with the window, both thresholds and the age cutoff configurable per server
  • Tells staff in the alert how many joined, how many were new accounts, which trigger fired, and whether lockdown is on
  • Applies 30s slowmode to every text channel except the ones you exempt, plus a 1-hour timeout on recent joiners, in lockdown mode
  • Restores each channel's original slowmode value after 30 minutes instead of resetting everything to zero
  • Leaves bots, users on your exempt list and holders of a trusted role untouched

Worth knowing before you turn it on

If you do not set an alert channel, detection still runs but nobody hears about it: the warning goes to the bot console only. Lockdown needs Manage Channels for slowmode and Moderate Members for timeouts, and the bot's role must sit above the raiders, since anyone higher is skipped without notice. It reacts to joins only: spam messages during a raid are not this feature's job, and it never kicks or bans, the hardest action is a timeout. One raid at a time: while a raid is flagged, new detections are ignored until recovery runs, so if you turn auto-recovery off you lift the slowmode yourself. The tracking state lives in memory, so a bot restart clears it while any applied slowmode stays. Alert embeds are currently written in Italian.
