List the roles you want new members to have and the bot assigns all of them in a single call on join. It skips bots by default. It also refuses to attempt roles it cannot grant, so a bad entry in the list does not break the rest.
What it does
- Assigns several roles at once, in one API call on join
- Skips @everyone, managed integration roles and any role positioned above the bot, with a log line saying which and why
- Leaves alone any role the member already has
- Skips bots unless you turn that off
- Ignores a repeated join event for the same member within 10 seconds, so nothing is assigned twice
Worth knowing before you turn it on
It fires on join only. Existing members are not backfilled and there is no command to apply the roles retroactively. No delay timer, no 'assign only after verification', no reaction roles or button roles. If the bot's highest role sits below a role on your list, that role is skipped for everyone and the reason goes to the bot log, not to you in Discord, so the bot's role has to sit above every role you want it to hand out.
