Server Logs

Writes twelve server events as embeds to the channels you choose.

It records message deletions, edits and bulk purges, member joins and leaves, nickname and role changes, voice joins, leaves and moves, and channel creation and deletion. Each event goes to one of four category channels (messages, members, voice, channels) or to a single fallback channel if you prefer everything in one place. Every event can be switched off on its own, specific channels can be excluded, and bot messages are skipped by default.

What it does

  • Tracks 12 events across four categories, each one individually switchable
  • Routes each category to its own channel, or points everything at one log channel
  • Shows the old text and the new text side by side on edits, with a jump link to the message
  • Lists the roles a member held on the way out, and shows account age and member count on joins
  • Follows your plan for log channels: 1 on Free, 4 on Pro, unlimited on Ace

Worth knowing before you turn it on

Nothing is recorded until you set a log channel or at least one category channel: with none configured the feature loads and stays inert. Deleted and edited messages are only captured if the message was still in the bot's cache, so anything posted before the last restart usually logs with empty content. These logs say what happened, not who did it: a deletion is attributed to the message author, not to the moderator who removed it, and channel create and delete entries carry no executor, because this feature does not read the audit log. Attachments and images are not archived, only text. The bot needs Send Messages and Embed Links in the target channel or it skips the entry silently. The embeds are currently written in Italian.
