Add the bot

Put AceV on your server

You need the Manage Server permission on the server you are adding it to. Free plan, no card, nothing to cancel.

The permissions, one by one

The invite does not ask for Administrator. Here is every permission it does ask for, and the thing it is needed for. If a feature you do not use needs one of these, you can take it away afterwards from the bot’s role — that feature stops working, the rest carries on.

  • View Channels Read the channels it has to work in.
  • Send Messages Reply, welcome members, post logs.
  • Embed Links Post the cards and panels it builds.
  • Attach Files Send rank cards and welcome images.
  • Read Message History Spot spam patterns across recent messages.
  • Add Reactions Reaction based menus and confirmations.
  • Manage Messages Delete spam and run the clear commands.
  • Kick Members The /kick command and raid response.
  • Ban Members The /ban and /unban commands.
  • Moderate Members Timeouts, including automatic ones for spam.
  • Manage Nicknames The /nickname command.
  • View Audit Log See who did what, for anti-nuke checks.
  • Manage Roles Auto roles and level rewards.
  • Manage Channels Create ticket channels and temporary voice rooms.

  • Move Members Move people between temporary voice rooms.

What happens right after

  1. The bot joins and registers on the free plan. Nothing is charged, ever, unless you choose a paid plan yourself.
  2. The two always-on features start immediately: the AI answers in chat, and the bot sits in voice.
  3. Everything else waits for you to configure it. A feature with no channel set does nothing rather than guessing.

Remove it whenever you like: kick the bot and it stops. Your configuration is kept, not deleted, so if you add it back later you are not starting from zero.
