Twitch Alerts

Announces the streamers on your list when the bot's next check finds them live.

The bot polls the Twitch API for the streamers you list and posts an embed in your notification channel the first time each one goes live. The embed carries the stream title, the category, the language and a preview image, all linked to the channel. One alert per live session: it does not repeat while the stream stays up, and the streamer becomes eligible again once the stream ends.

What it does

  • Keeps a per-server streamer list, and lets each streamer carry its own message with {streamer}, {title}, {game} and {url}
  • Checks on the interval you set, from 1 to 30 minutes, 2 by default
  • Adds an optional role mention or @everyone above the alert, and pins the message if you want
  • Applies your embed color and footer text, and toggles the preview image and the category field
  • Verifies it can post in the channel before sending, and drops finished streams so the next session is announced again

Worth knowing before you turn it on

This is polling, not Twitch EventSub, so an alert arrives up to one interval late, about 2 minutes with the default. A streamer list and a notification channel are both required. The Twitch application credentials are infrastructure we provide, and if they are missing the feature does not start. Live-stream tracking is held in memory, so if the bot restarts while someone is streaming, that stream can be announced a second time. Alerts are never edited or deleted when the stream ends, and viewer count is not shown. Some default embed labels and the fallback message text are still in Italian: your custom message replaces the text, the embed field labels stay as they are. All streamers post into the same channel.
