Support Tickets

Opens a private channel per request, with claiming, closing and full transcripts.

Members pick a category from a panel and the bot opens a private channel that only they and your staff can see. Staff claim it so everyone knows who is handling it, close it, reopen it, or delete it. Closing locks the channel read-only for the member instead of destroying the conversation. Deleting writes a text transcript, posts it to your archive channel and sends a copy to the member by DM.

What it does

  • Routes each category to its own Discord category and its own transcript channel, both by ID
  • Gives the staff member who claims a ticket extra permissions on that channel, and releases them on unclaim
  • Turns the channel read-only for the opener on close, restores it on reopen, and deletes it 5 seconds after the transcript is sent
  • Writes a .txt transcript with every message, timestamp and attachment link, delivered to your archive channel and to the member's DMs
  • Allows one open ticket per member per category, and rebuilds its state after a restart from the channel's category and permission overwrites

Worth knowing before you turn it on

It does nothing until it is configured: at least one ticket category ID and one transcript channel ID have to be set in the server's ticket settings, and there is no setup screen in the bot for that part. /ticket only posts the panel and force-closes or reopens. The panel is fixed, not editable per server: six categories (Partnership, Donations, General, Ideas, CS2 Team, Minecraft Support), fixed English copy, AceV Network branding in the footer, and an @everyone ping when it is posted. Your configured category keys have to match those six names or the dropdown will not find a category. Transcripts are plain text files, not styled HTML. A member with DMs closed does not receive their copy.
