Features Goodbye Messages
pro planGoodbye Messages
Posts a note in the channel you choose when someone leaves.
When a member leaves, the bot posts your text in the channel you picked. Placeholders fill in {user}, {username}, {tag}, {server} and {memberCount}. You send it as plain text or as an embed with your own color.
What it does
- Sends an embed with your color, an optional title and the leaving member's avatar as thumbnail
- Adds an optional detail block: tag and user ID, how long they stayed as a relative timestamp, and the member count left
- Mentions the leaving member next to the embed when you want it
- Resolves the placeholders per message, so one template covers every departure
- Checks its own permissions in the channel first and logs the reason instead of throwing when it cannot post
Worth knowing before you turn it on
Both a channel and a message text are required: without them the feature refuses to start. It reacts to every kind of removal, kicks and bans included, because Discord reports them as the same event and the bot does not tell them apart, so a banned member still gets a farewell message. The bot needs Send Messages and Embed Links in that channel, both, even in plain-text mode, or nothing is posted. No leave DM and no generated image cards: text or embed only.
