Every 24 hours the bot posts a short, casual line in the channel you pick, with an @everyone ping, to restart conversation in a channel that has gone quiet. The line is picked at random from a built-in pool of twenty gaming-flavoured openers. The last send time is saved to disk, so a restart does not reset the clock or double-post.
What it does
- Posts one message every 24 hours in the channel you choose
- Picks at random from twenty built-in casual openers
- Saves the send time to disk and resumes the schedule after a restart instead of firing again
- Skips the send and logs a warning when the bot is missing Send Messages or Mention Everyone in that channel
Worth knowing before you turn it on
It needs a channel: without one it does not start. Every message carries an @everyone ping and that is not optional in this build, so pick a channel where pinging everyone is acceptable and give the bot Mention Everyone there. The message pool and the 24-hour interval are written into the bot: you cannot supply your own lines or change the frequency from the settings yet. It handles one scheduled message per server, even though the plan matrix lists 1 on Pro and 5 on Ace.
